St Andrew's Toddler group, Barnoldswick was awarded a grant from us in February to buy new toys for the children to play with.

St Joseph's Catholic Primary School was awarded a grant from us in February.  The children now have a music area, a stage and a construction area outdoors.  They also purchased a welly rack so the children can access the outdoors at all times no matter the weather....

Both Kelbrook School and Kelbrook Friends Committee were awarded grants from us in February to buy new books, to improve the school's library.  Here are the photos of the books they have purchased with the money.

We gave a grant to Barnoldsick Church of England Primary School for Year 5 to have a viking day. These are the photos the school have sent to us.   Olaf helped them understand what life was like in the Viking era.

Busy day yesterday at crafty owls. Thanks to Sylvia for coming and showing us how to make crayon pictures using a hot iron. The craft group meets on Friday afternoons 1pm - 3pm... Anyone is welcome, its free of charge, we just ask for a £1 donation for a brew.
