Lothersdale School - May 2026
Lothersdale school applied for a grant from us in May 2026. They wanted to purchase a subscription to Music Express which provides quality and engaging music lessons. Gisburn Road School - June 2026
Gisburn Road School applied for a grant from us in June 2026. They requested funding to go towards a STEM science workshop for year 6 to learn about electricity. This increases children's awareness and knowledge of possible careers within the industry.


Friends of Fouldridge School - April 2026
St Michael + All Angels School in Foulridge applied for a grant from us in April 2026. They hired a drama group (Freshwater Theatre Group), to put on a workshop of the great Fire of London. Year 1 were involved in an interactive learning experience which is enjoyable and helps children retain the information better.


Ongoing Roof Fundraising Target - July 2026
We are slowly working towards our target of £40,000 to completely refurbish the Grammar School roof, we have now reached £31,500. So far we have been awarded 2 grants, £2,000 from Earby Clarets and £5,000 from the Duchy of Lancaster. The rest is our own fundraising from the café and shop takings. Salterforth Community Garden - May '26
Salterforth Community Garden applied for a grant from us in May 2026, so they were able to buy compost to fill planters. The Community Garden provides access to a safe area of learning for children in the local area. They are taught how to plant and grow food, which creates a sense of ownership and community belonging.


Barnoldswick and Earby Amateur Swimming Club - March 2026
Barnoldswick and Earby Amateur Swimming Club applied for a grant from us in March 2026. They were wanting to buy new polo shirts for the volunteers, so that they stand out to parents and children alike. The volunteers that get into the water require to be suitably covered to meet Swim England rules.


A Big 'Thank you' To The Lancashire Lieutenancy
A big thank you to Lancashire Lieutenancy for the generous grant of £5,000 from the Duchy of Lancaster Benevolent Fund, this will go towards the cost of our roof repairs at the Old Grammar School which is a grade 2* listed building and very fragile being over 400 years old. Salterforth School - New Rug and 'Out of School Club' - New Welly Rack
Salterforth School All Stars applied for a grant from us in November 2025, as they wanted a new welly rack to support the forest school and have somewhere to hang the wellies to stop the classroom carpets getting ruined. The school also applied for a large learning rug for years 1 and 2 to be able to sit together and enjoy story time sessions.


Thornton-in-Craven School - Trip To Chester Zoo
Thornton-in-Craven School applied for a grant from us in January 2026, to help subsidise a trip for year 1 and 2 to Chester Zoo, as part of their learning of animals and their habitats.. Subsidising the cost made it accessible for all. 'Words from the school' Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children had an amazing time at Chester Zoo. We are very grateful for the grant given to us from Robert Windle foundation to enable the trip to go ahead by bringing the bus cost down to paren


Pendle & Craven Croquet Club - Indoor Equipment
It's not often that the Foundation gets a chance to grant money for pioneering new sports equipment, but that's exactly what happened when Pendle & Craven Croquet Club got in touch with us in October 2025 They were struggling to find indoor hoops for a Wellbeing project they wanted to run over the winter at Earby Community Centre.
