Thornton-in-Craven School - Trip To Chester Zoo
Thornton-in-Craven School applied for a grant from us in January 2026, to help subsidise a trip for year 1 and 2 to Chester Zoo, as part of their learning of animals and their habitats.. Pendle & Craven Croquet Club - Indoor Equipment
It's not often that the Foundation gets a chance to grant money for pioneering new sports equipment, but that's exactly what happened when Pendle & Craven Croquet Club got in touch with us in October 2025 They were struggling to find indoor hoops for a Wellbeing project they wanted to run over the winter at Earby Community Centre. Coates Lane Primary School - New Forest School Canopy
Coates Lane Primary School applied for a grant in December 2025, they put the funding towards building an outside shelter in their forest area.. How fabulous does it look!!!! A Big Thank You to Earby Clarets !!!
On Friday the 6th February the Robert Windle Foundation received a lovely donation from Earby Clarets. For those who are not aware who they are, they started in the early 2000's when a group of Burnley FC fans joined together to help the club and raise money to donate to groups in Earby. The group were very successful., however as time rolled on the groups membership dwindled and they eventually folded. There was still money left in the bank so they very kindly donated £2,000


Lothersdale School - March 2025

Outdoor area at Gisburn Road Primary School
Gisburn Road School applied for a grant from us in July 2025, to contribute to change the playground into an outdoor sensory area. Atlas Books For Lothersdale Primary School
Lothersdale Primary School applied for a grant in September 2025. The grant went towards buying new atlases for both the juniors and the infants, they sent us photos of the children using them. St Joseph's School in Barnoldswick applied for a grant in August 2025, so they could hire the 'Lancashire Music Bus' to visit the school for the day. It is a big bus that comes to park on the playground,.different groups of children have musical activities involving instruments and music tech. It enables more children to experience different aspects of the Music curriculum delivered by experts and with a range of high quality resources that the school doesn’t have access to.
