Coates Lane Primary School - New Forest School Canopy

Coates Lane Primary School applied for a grant in December 2025, they put the funding towards building an outside shelter in their forest area.. How fabulous does it look!!!!

'Words from the school'

We were very lucky in that one of our colleagues in school, her husband kindly built it for us so we saved a huge amount of money on labour costs.  The children had their first session in it on Monday afternoon and absolutely loved it.  He even made some worm calculators so the children could measure the worms!
