To all our supporters and friends,
Good news, our kitchen is finally finished, it has been a long journey with fundraising and then, the Covid situation and lockdown. But now it is finished and looking great – see the attached photos
We would like to say a big thank you to our tradesmen, Chris and Jeb Whitfield, Plumber and joiner, Malcolm Brown sourcing and fitting the steel units, Inspired floorings for the floor covering, Malcolm Baines electrical work and Martin Snell for the decorating. They all did a great job.
Also to all the people who have donated goods to sell or who have bought goods, without you we could not have completed the work.
A special thanks is also due to Jennifer Beckwith who donated the money for the stainless steel sink in memory of her brother, and to Jane Grenville who donated the stainless steel shelving.
We are looking forward to being able to welcome everyone one into the Grammar School soon and can put our wonderful kitchen to good use.
Our next big project is to widen the gateway, re-lay the car park and replace all the cracked and broken paving stones. This work will make access much easier and safer. We hope to start on this soon hopefully before we reopen.
A big thank you from all the trustees, we really appreciate your support.
