Thornton-in-Craven School - Trip To Chester Zoo

Thornton-in-Craven School applied for a grant from us in January 2026, to help subsidise a trip for year 1 and 2 to Chester Zoo, as part of their learning of animals and their habitats.. Subsidising the cost made it accessible for all.

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children had an amazing time at Chester Zoo. We are very grateful for the grant given to us from Robert Windle foundation to enable the trip to go ahead by bringing the bus cost down to parents.
